VESSELS

Currently, ARRC fleet comprises 8 multi-purpose ice-class L-2 vessels (6 Lo-Ro and 2 Ro-Ro ships) with a total carrying capacity of over 1.5 million tons a year.

Lo-Ro Type

ARRC is the world's largest operator of Astrakhan type vessels. Designed for versatility, this type of vessels can accommodate all cargo types. Heavy lift derricks up to 125 mt and hold manipulation capabilities of the Lo-Ro fleet reduce berth times at port, resulting in faster, cost-efficient delivery of cargo.

Ro-Ro type vessels are designed with the primary purpose of carrying Ro-Ro cargo and containers. Ro-Ro ships have reinforced sectional car-decks, which means that stowage can be adjusted to best match the dimensions of the cargo and to ensure optimal utilization of the ship’s capacity. The excellent stabilization system permits secure transportation even in the severest of weather.
